NEVER DELIVERED CANCELLED ORDER W/O MY KNOWLEDGE

I placed the order for the washer and dryer on August 31st and a week later I received a phone call saying the delivery was delayed. I called 4 times between September 6-24th and asked about the delivery. I also sent various emails. They canceled my order without my permission and when I called they told me that it was cancelled per customer request. I have no idea what happened to my order. I waited almost 3 weeks for the delivery and now if I go buy it at the stores it will cost me more since I had bought it on Labor Day sale. Their customer service is the worst. I owned LG products for over 10 years but I will move on to a better brand now. I am so disappointed.

Scam lies and incomplete delivery

I bought my machines off of the LG website in hopes of getting them sooner because my units were destroyed by soot damage. They were in stock and a delivery date was set. No communication from LG. On said delivery date the window passed and no communication. I called them and they told me they would write a ticket. Now this can take up to 48 hours. I asked for a manager. There were none on a Monday at LG. Total lies. I explained I was already on the list for delivery and the machines should be on the truck. They confirmed I was on the list and tried to put me in a holding pattern again with a ticket. I waited a week already and I needed a washer and dryer immediately. They said the installers were still working on their first visit and they would see if there was time. I told them to call the company and confirm they are coming.if not today first thing tomorrow morning. I waited forever on the phone and got the runaround again. Telling me they would resubmit my delivery date. No. I refused. They came back and said they will be there within the hour. Over an hour later 2 men in a Penske truck show up. No ids. No LG logo. No company logo. I have nothing that comes with the units. The manuals yes but not the brackets or inserts. They werent installed 100 correctly and they told me they were just waiting around all day for a job to install. They were not at a clients house. They did not have an earlier appointment. They were wonderful installers and it wasnt their fault. They werent going to take my old units although I set it up for them to be taken. That was a few phone calls and finally they took them. I love the machines. I got a call asking how my experience and is everything ok. I told them it was horrible and I was brushed off. First time LG buyer last time LG buyer. I was just about to order more things because of the entire house soot damage but now I am going to purchase an entire house full of appliances and computers from another company. I was treated like I was insignificant and unworthy of their business. $2500 spent on my units and I was treated like trash.

I have had my LG turbo wash front load washer since July 17 2024. I am very happy with this machine the cycles are actually shorter than the machine I replaced and I can customize the cycles to my needs. my clothes dont get beat up and the spin cycle is amazing. The clothes are barely damp after the spin cycle. The steam option is nice for stubborn stains. The machine is easy to operate and does a great job of cleaning. The cleaning cycle for this machine is easy to cycle for periodic cleaning.

Service struggles

Main reson for purchase was the drum size to accomidate comforters and larger loads. That is nice to have. We have had the wasing machine 4 months and had issues already. Took over 3 weeks to identify what needed to be fixed 3 trips by service team and several parts replaced. There were no error codes ever displayed so made diagnosing the issue that much harder. Time waiting for parts was too long at 9 days once it was determine what part needed to be replaced. When calling LG on part status communicatio was very challenging and they were not honest. Told me they delivered the part and scheduled the service for that Friday. The service provider did not get the part until the next Tuesday and LG does not schedule their customer appointments. Frustrated with the run around Certain features like spin dry only are not available for selection.

Leaking after a year

I like how big it is and how quickly it washes clothes. However after about a year of having it anytime I use the fabric softener it leaks water pretty significantly. So I am no longer able to use liquid fabric softener when I wash my clothes.

I liked the selection of cycle choices. However some selection wont allow specific settings like: hotter higher spin etc App needs user experience improvements. For example remote start...it was limited for child safety but there should be a way to disable it if you dont have a child. Excellent quality washer but the plastic door just dropped my review to average quality.

This is the third set of LG washer/dryers we have owned nothing wrong with the previous ones just moves that we didnt have the weight and had to leave them. LG makes solid laundry products Direct drive motors stainless tubs and features for laundry cycles all keep us coming back Made the mistake of ordering another competing brand for our last set key word: mistake. The comparison was an eye opener to quality and customer service Already had a service appointment due to the installer forgetting to install the strain relief on the dryer after installing the cord. Service was fast non painful and technician was knowledgeable unlike another brands tech. So glad to be back to the LG family of quality laundry products

Pros: They look nice. They clean/dry well and are quiet. Cons: Drum light only comes on when you hit the power button not when opening the doors. Light button only works during a load. Front panel wording is off-white not backlit hard to see. Dial starts off on Normal but cant choose options you have to turn it again to Normal if using that setting to be able to adjust water temp spin etc. Settings dont save you have to adjust for every load even if you same loads back to back. I WOULD NOT BUY THESE AGAIN

I bought this washer and matching dryer over a month ago and I love it I am a older Senior Citizen and was afraid to use a front load. Never owned one and my last agitator was 42 years old. It is very easy to use the only thing I was not warned about is if you get the pedestals they are wonderful do not buy the plastic water catcher that goes under the washer because you can not open the drawer to the pedestal.

Very disappointed in this product and the way LG has handled my issues. I was disappointed that the front load washer was not delivered today. The first machine did not spin and was scheduled to be replaced that machine was dented and was not acceptable the third machine scheduled never got on the truck. This is not acceptable.

Pros: It washes clothes. Its quieter than my last washer. Cons: The light in the drum does not come on when the door opens. Why put a light in there then??? We have cabinets over the washer dryer. If you lean over to get something out of the cabinets you will lean against the control panel which will reset the current cycle This is a HUGE issue when your 45 minutes into a wash cycle I would not recommend these to anyone and Lowes only has a 48 hr window to return them which has past.

One star for easy set up and looks sharp. One star for easy of use and functionality. One star for for water and energy efficiency. One star for doing a great job washing where items seem to be cleaned well. Dinged one star for noise shaking and vibrations been experiencing from day one.

Great large capacity washer with great features.

Love this washer. It is quieter than expected very quiet. It has no problem getting our large loads clean and the spin removes most of the water making the drying time much shorter.

Did not work on day 1 within the hour it was inst

I was excited to use the washer and put in a load as soon as the instalation was complete. On the very first load the washer started making the most horrible noises during the spin cycle and started to shake so much that the washer travelled across my laundry room and only stopped travelling as the hoses attached would no let it go further. I called customer service to fix/replace and the offered a replacement right away but could not let me know when I would get the washer delivered. I waited a month to get this washer to begin with and had them haul away my previous washer so I am now left with no washer for who knows how long with only a hope that the next machine they send will actually work. Horrible product so far and worse service...

Amazing capacity and features

Ive had my washer for two weeks and I am really happy with how large of a load I can place in the washer and dryer. Ive also purchased the pedestal washer and a regular pedestal for the set as I have a large family where the laundry never quits. They are simple and easy to use and the LG application linked to my washer OK. Im still working on the dryer though. Overall my laundry smells amazing I also love the energy efficiency based on the load type and the various options your can include or exclude based on your needs.

Amazing amount of options the Turbo wash with extra water jets and a Sanitary option with the self heated water was a surprise I wasnt aware of. Different water levels self adjusting if it senses the load is out of balance several washing modes for clothing bedding towels delicates plus its huge inside and spins loads really dry . Nice ThinQ app with extra options there too.
