Initially this ice maker worked great. But after about 6 months, it quit filling with water and then when it did, filled with water, wouldn't dump, and then refilled with water. I am left with frozen water in the bucket and frozen ice cubes that won't dump. This product was installed by the deliverer.

We were fortunate to use this while staying at a Residence Inn for a few weeks. As heavy ice water drinkers this was able to keep up with our consumption with no problem. Our personal door ice maker struggled and often failed. This is a work horse!! Eleven stars ⭐️

Donʻt make the same mistake I did and buy this ice maker expecting it to work. The pump is defective, so water canʻt get into the unit to make ice. I wasted $119 + tax.

Refrigerator was delivered last Wednesday and ice maker was installed. Off to a slow start in terms of making ice. And I keep dumping it wondering when the bad taste of the ice will go away!

Love GE refrigerator, but this IM4D ice maker has only made 1/2 bucket of ice in 4 days. Set temp gauge on 4+, still not filling up. 5 is highest temp, and not energy efficient at that high. i did all the items on video, still not working. Green light didn't come on at all, like video indicated.
Using cube trays, wish I had not bought ice maker now.

Feeler Arm Freezes in OFF position

Ice builds up on the feeler arm and causes it to stay in the off position. Every day I have to take a little fork and remove the ice buildup. That is soooo not acceptable. This product should be recalled to replace the feeler arm with another design.
